WROUGHT IRON

This is real wrought iron from old anchor chain, forged into flat bar and rough ground on two sides. Sizes are approximate. Thickness and width may vary slightly over the length of the bar.
Knifemakers use this material for guards, bolsters and other hardware on custom knives. It is easily worked with hand or power tools, take a nice polish, and can be etched with acid to reveal its interesting, fiborous structure.
